Hajime Chitose and Atari Kousuke to collaborate for new single

Famous shima-uta singers Hajime Chitose and Atari Kousuke have decided to come together for a brand new track!
We previously reported that Hajime Chitose would be making a guest appearance at Atari Kousuke’s concert, but it looks like this was not the only thing they had planned. The two popular folk singers will be releasing their collaboration single “Haru no Yuugoto” under the unit name Ochuugen, a combination of characters from both of their names. The single will be released on March 9th.
The title song was created in dedication to the opening of the Kyushu bullet train line and is intended to express the theme of “meeting and parting with a person, and the meetings that are born from partings” through its mood and deep lyricism. The song will also allow listeners to feel the upcoming spring season. The unique voices of each singers are said complement each other well, creating an unparalleled masterpiece.
