Most dramas have already come to an end and those that are still running had either been postponed due to the earthquake or are long-running dramas such as “Wataru Seken wa oni Bakari” on Thursdays.
Monday’s “Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta” was one of those dramas that were delayed by a week. Usually it would have come to an end by this week, but now we have to wait for the final to air next week. The ratings for its ninth episode dropped a little again, but at least the drama was able to stay above the 10% mark throughout the season. The overall result is still low for a Monday drama, but Fuji TV should get used to the mediocre ratings or come up with something new and unique next season.
Nagasawa Masami’s drama special “Okujo no Aru Apato” also aired that day, but unfortunately TBS didn’t disclose most of their ratings.
On Tuesday Matsushita Nao’s drama “CONTROL” came to an end with an extended final episode achieving 12.0%. It’s never good to have a final episode with ratings below its average, but it’s still the third most successful drama this season.
Wednesday is already lacking dramas, at least until the spring season. However, TV Tokyo aired a nice special called “Sotsugyo Home Run” featuring a great ensemble of veteran and young actors. Meanwhile NTV aired the “Ano Uta Concert“.
As for the Thursday, Fuji TV has started a rerun of the amazing drama special “Wagaya no Rekishi” featuring countless of popular actors and actresses. Of course the ratings are nowhere near its first broadcast last year, but those that have missed it definitely should watch it now.
